Shanghai hosts the Rotary China Team

On Saturday night 8 March (International Women's Day) Rotarian Sheen organized a stunning Italian-themed party in the Porcini restaurant for our visitors from Beijing and overseas attending the weekend Rotary China Assembly.
Prizes were given out for silliest costume (to Beijing PE Vlad Reyes) for best costume and for a few silly stunts. The highlight for all was the cameo appearance by Tomasina - distant sister of our President-Elect Tom Thong. It seems that the Shanghai club has a new tradition of Presidents discovering their long lost siblings.

Suzuka City's 10th Anniversary

On 16 October we had the privilege to co-host the 10th Anniversary celebration of the Suzuka City Rotary club from Japan. We were joined by 46 visitors from the club and for the first time this century had more than 100 people for our regular dinner meeting.
Congratulations Suzuka City for 10 years of Rotary Service above self!
